Cop who arrested Justin Timberlake for DWI named “Officer of the year”

The Long Island cop who arrested Justin Timberlake for DUI in the Hamptons was named Officer of the Year for making an “immediate impact” in his first year on the job.

Officer Michael Arkinson, 24, led his department in summonses and arrests, including Timberlake’s high-profile stop last June.

Despite not recognizing the pop star at the time, Arkinson charged him with DWI, later reduced to a lesser offense.

Known for his strict policing, Arkinson also made headlines for saving a local from an overdose just days before the Timberlake arrest.
